Christmas

Christmas is here and we are SO excited! I wish that I could completely deck our home out in Christmas. like my mother, but thankfully I realized (before I went crazy) that all the stuff I put up I will have to store after Christmas. Our clothes/storage closet cannot handle much more. Of course we had to buy a tree and I may have gotten a few small things :) Instead of buying ornaments for the tree we decided to go the old fashion popcorn and cranberry look. I figured it would be inexpensive and something we could throw away when we took the tree down. Or we just REALLY like food, which is true. We put on a movie a couple of nights ago, got out the needle and thread, and Derek and I decorated the tree! I love it! It makes our home look so festive.
The other thing that has help bring in the Christmas spirit is "The Forgotten Carols." I had some other Christmas music that we started playing right after Thanksgiving but yesterday I felt like something was missing, it was those "Forgotten Carols." I broke down and bought the album on itunes and it has been playing almost nonstop. Derek has never seen the show so I am going to have to figure out a way to let him see it. I believe my parents have the movie, I hope. I'll be bringing that back with me :) Merry Christmas!
