Finally!!!

After 8 long months of late nights doing homework and writing papers, BOTH of us are ecstatic that I have finally graduated! Taking 41 credits in two semesters was definitely not easy and I couldn't have done it without Derek. If you even knew how much Derek had to sacrifice to help me graduate, you'd want to marry him too!

Many times he would stay up late trying to help me finish up phylogeny trees for biology, reading through my 10 page research papers for the millionth time, or just having to wait until midnight to talk to me. He has been my support and my strength. He never complained (even though I did!) and was always confident that I would do great!

Despite these 8 months being long and difficult, they have only strengthened our love and my excitement of being with each other for eternity! Thank you Derek for all that you have done and still do for me. And thank you to all of my family and friends that have supported me along the way.


Now that school is out of the way we can get married! My mom and I are driving down to Houston tomorrow to move my stuff into our new apartment. The excitement is building!
